I tried to deposit a check via ingo/netspend app since I was nowhere around my credit union. I took both front and back pictures and the check was accepted.
I then received an alert saying I needed to write "void" across the entire front of the check in bold lettering. I did just that. IT WAS DECLINED. So, now, I have to try and attempt to get a new check from the state of NC Department on Revenue because my local Credit union will not accept this check with large black, bold letters saying VOID on the front of the check.
Tried calling ingo, and all I could get was a recording saying I did not write "void" correctly on the check....it was done just as the picture showed. DONT EVER USE THIS SERVICE.
